UBCV

Special event permits

UBC abides by the Serving and Consumption of Alcohol at University Facilities and Events Policy (SC 9). All staff, students, faculty and guests are required to adhere to the policy. Enrolment Services serves as the Alcohol Approval Authority for all indoor UBC facilities. Before an event organizer applies for a Special Event Permit, they must follow the procedures for approval by Enrolment Services. This includes submitting the completed request 30 days before the scheduled event. The process is outlined at How to apply for a Special Event Permit for indoor space.
